Really insightful blog post about the changing landscape of publishing. Now that I have a Kindle and use it quite frequently, I’ve become interested in ebooks vs traditional publishing. I have a stake in the future of that and I’m curious to learn more. Amanda Hocking’s name is always referenced a lot these days about indie authors who self-publish and make lots of money but there’s always more to be had when you have a giant publishing house behind you. I also think not many publishers know what to do about pricing and how to maximize profits or differentiate their products.
